Welcome to www.barcelonavisitor.co.uk, my guide to the wonderful city of Barcelona. The capital of Catalonia (an autonomous community of Spain) is the second largest city in Spain and, since the developments of the city for the 1992 summer olympics, Barcelona is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination.

I first visited Barcelona in December 2005 as a winter weekend holiday and had such a great time and liked the city so much that I visited 3 times more in the next year alone. This guide is my attempt to introduce the city of Barcelona to anyone who's planning on paying a visit, with my opinions on the sights to see, things to do, where to eat and drink and advice on how to get around.
